Presentation to Willie Mullins at Galway Races 2023

At the recent Galway Races, which was a resounding success, a presentation was made to pastman Willie Mullins.  During the presentation, Breandán Ó Ruairc stated that Willie is now the leading National Hunt Trainer in the world.  In the past year his horses have been successful in America, France, England and Ireland.  In May, he was crowned Champion National Hunt Trainer for the 17th time.  His 93 winners at Cheltenham make him the most successful trainer of all time.  In amassing over €7m in prize money in Ireland he has set an amazing record and his achievements will most probably never again be emulated.  Willie is a loyal past student of Cistercian College and has never missed the "CCR Day at the Races", organised by the Western Branch of the Past Pupils Union.  We wish him continued success in the years ahead.
