The Western Branch of the Past Pupils Union is delighted to invite you to our annual Cistercian College Roscrea Day at the Galway Races on Saturday 1st August 2026. This much-loved annual gathering promises another wonderful day for alumni, families and friends of CCR, with up to 300 guests expected to attend.
EVENT DETAILS CCR Attendees with gather in the luxurious Killanin Stand at the Galway Races, the event offers outstanding hospitality in elegant surroundings. Guests will enjoy a champagne reception, a superb lunch, access to a private bar and tote facilities, and a private balcony overlooking the excitement of the live racing.
Adding to the occasion, Brendan O'Rourke, TV and Radio Racing Pundit, will once again act as Master of Ceremonies, while CCR past pupil and legendary trainer Willie Mullins will share his expert insight on the day's racing. The Western Branch looks forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a stylish, enjoyable and memorable day at the races. Early booking is strongly recommended.
