Dublin Branch Business & Networking Lunch

Dear Pastmen,

Following on from the successful golf outing in Elm Park Golf Club in June, the CCR PPU Dublin Branch is hosting its annual Business Lunch, in the Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club, on Friday, October 18th at 2.30pm for lunch at 3pm.

We are very lucky this year to have John O’Brien (CCR Class of 1998) as our speaker. John is the Managing Director of O’Brien Fine Foods, which includes “Brady Family Ham” amongst its product range.  John will talk about how his father, Bill O’Brien (CCR Class of 1968) founded the company and how John aided in its development as a family business, before acceding to the Managing Directorship following Bill’s retirement.  John will also discuss his guiding business principles, for which he credits his years in CCR and his father, Bill, and will share his invaluable insight on succession planning in family businesses.

John is the first in a range of CCR’s next generation leaders we hope to have as speakers at our business lunch going forward, and so we are hoping for a big representation for the more recent graduates from CCR.

With this in mind, the price for past students from years 2015-2019 is only €15 for a three-course lunch.

In addition, despite the increase in VAT since last year’s event, we are lucky to be able to maintain the very reasonable price of €30 for all other pastmen and their guests.

Unfortunately, due to ongoing renovation works in FLTC, places are limited to 70, and so we encourage pastmen to book early by email to ccrppu.dublin@gmail.com.

Looking forward to seeing our pastmen at what promises to be a great event!

Regards,

Sean O’Sullivan,

Chairman,
